Sarah Boehle

Sarah is the Executive Director of Cape May Retirement Village in Wilmington, OH. Sarah is a graduate of Wilmington College, and received her Master of Gerontological Studies degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH. She holds Ohio licensure as a Social Worker and a Nursing Home Administrator.

Sarah began her career with older adults while in college working as a Nursing Assistant, and later as an Activities Director. She became a Nursing Home Administration in 1985, and began her leadership role with Cape May in 2006.

Sarah enjoys working in Clinton County where she began her career and has resided with her family for over thirty years. She can claim experience as a “second generation caregiver” because she has provided care to the parents of many current Cape May residents. Sarah’s commitment to improving the quality of life for older adults is evident through her continuing education. She is currently working toward her Ph.D. in Social Gerontology at Miami University on a part-time basis, and hopes to train future generations of service providers to better meet the needs of the growing older population.
